Diagnostic/Treatment Second Opinion

Because there are many variables in every situation, it is often very helpful to get a professional second opinion.

Often clients come to ICFT after having received an initial diagnosis for themselves or their loved one from another provider. Research shows that even if the diagnosis remains the same, going through the process of getting a second opinion increases understanding of the diagnosis and gives greater hope for a positive outcome of treatment. This is true even if the client returns to the provider giving the original diagnosis.

Clients also come to ICFT for a different treatment approach because we treat each situation both from an individual diagnostic perspective and from a systemic perspective. Many struggles in life are not just about something happening inside “one person”. Systemic treatment may be needed for effective work with children, teens, young adults, and couples.
